The application of Artificial Intelligence to Alves & Filhos’ processes, through the modernisation and digitalisation of the sawmill’s production processes, with AI solutions applied to quotation, planning, execution and production control.
Objectives
Automate the calculation of costs, margins and order budgeting;

Optimise the use of timber and reduce waste;
Implement smart systems for forecasting weather, costs and energy consumption:
Improving quality control through computer vision;
Digitise production orders and operational monitoring;
